After our big family portrait session, I was able to get behind the camera and take some smaller family portraits.  We had to go fast, because it was very hot and the kids were running out of patience.

What a beautiful night with the Wittenberg family.  There is this neighborhood down the street from where they live that has a W for the entrance.  They have always wanted to have a family portrait taken in front of the W but never had the chance until now. 

From there, we headed over to Goodson Rec Center for some more fun.

What a fun time this past weekend with Brian and Tina. It was a beautiful day and fun was had all around. I can't wait for their May wedding.

Canon 5D Mark II

Well, I made the plunge and purchased the Canon 5D Mark II. This was a big decision for me, because I was going back and forth between the Canon 7d and the 5D. I did a lot of research and read way to many reviews on both of them.

What it came down to was the fact that the 5D was a full frame sensor and the 7D was not. I already have a Canon XTI, so if I need that extra 1.5 times magnification, I could still use this as a back up.

MS Walk

This weekend on Sat May 2nd, I am going to be a volunteer photographer for the MS society walk. They have asked me to take creative shots and get as much as I can from 7am - 12. If anyone is planning on walking this weekend keep an eye out for me.

50MM Lens Purchase

I am very excited to get my new lens in the mail Friday. I purchased a Canon 50MM lens from Amazon.com from the recommendation of a fellow photographer from the Mile High Photographers club. The review is listed below:
